We’ve all received Direct Mail that has gone straight to the trash can without being read. So
does a company create a Direct Mail piece that will entice recipients to read and retain it.
When a very experienced residential and commercial real estate broker decided to send a post card | direct mail piece to every commercial property owner in Freeport, ME, developing a compelling design and message was imperative.
Since most of us like seeing our own reflection, a professional
quality photo of each building was taken and used for the front of the post card mailer which was sent to the owners of the property. The message on the back of the mailer was the same for all the cards and included a call to action …. and hopefully a listing presentation for the Real Estate Broker.
During follow up phone calls, it was discovered that not only did the majority of the recipients read the post card, they had saved it for future reference or were willing to engage in a discussion about selling their property or business.
